Jaime Arias was born and raised in Mexico City. He received a degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from Universidad La Salle. After a career in the corporate world - both in Mexico and the U.S. - he moved to Reynosa, Tamaulipas (across from McAllen, Texas) near the southern end of the Texas - Mexico border to manage a local branch of a Mexican media conglomerate.

In 1990, inspired and driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, armed with his vision, integrity, great marketing instincts and supported by his wife and President of his Fan Club and their two children, they created ADVERMEX Effective Media – Great Results.
